Этот ЧЕЛОВЕК делает шедевры!!! Привет из ЧР. Грозный.
Windsor Ontario Canada watching. Luv the channel
Mags open space were the fram area is cut out with the empty space open on a truck
So much nicer than any exotic supercar. Practical everyday driver is what puts it over the top. No ridiculous maintenance. If I could have any car on the planet and couldn't sell it, I would choose this one.
I loved the music.
Great explanation of custom exhaust. Thanks 😀🇺🇸
I feel overhauling was pretty genuine. Watching shows, like pimp my ride or occ, you could tell some stuff was hyped up alittle more and the builds weren't made to last. I wouldn't doubt those vehicles chip did on overhauling are still on the road
Great 👍👍 very informative video
Have always enjoyed Richard's fabrications since back in the day. You've both come a long way,Chip!
I looked and nothing was listed for the 70’s A bodies. I have a 72 Dodge Demon swapping out the 318 for a 360. Same engine style. No kits listed for Darts or Dusters. Guess I’ll buy parts and pieces and start welding.
How does he get away driving in Cali without a front license plate? - CHP / LAPD and the rest of blue gang love to pull you for anything.
I love the back story of having to bring what he needed 😅😂 theres definitely experiences lurking around in that memory ! Glad to see things have changed for so many reasons .
👍
Richard's got there jimmy arms.
Wow! What an unveiling! An exhaust system revealed! Earth shaking promoting!
All killer, no filler!
Thanks, this is one thing that I needed, for my 56 3100 Chevy truck. Do they come in stainless steel? Thoughts on open port, for increasing sound?
Richard’s a crafty dude 👍🏼
That's going to be a unique exhaust.
Boa noite congrats vai amén bom trabalho
WOW she cleaned up ..💪♥️🇺🇸
Beautiful 😎👍
As much fun as it was to see what you idi to this car, I had a 32 truck, the next GREATEST thing was your choice of. music. IT WAS PERFECT !!!!! You hit it out of the car park.
You are doing a fine job, Brock! Keep up the good work! That forklift needs a CUSTOM Paint Job! OH! and some body work as well!!!
The story about painting the top half of the headlights might have been accurate, I don’t know. But it would have been the wrong thing to do. With a reflector type headlight beam, the upper half of the headlight beam (high beam) comes out of the lower half of the lamp, and vice versa.
Great work. There is huge history there. A great place to be.
Wow. Beautiful build. I have a 57 2 door in 1968. Not quite the ride that this is.
Broc, expand- your comment when you register your car…”do we really need that”. Yes I agree , you don’t ..keep learning the biggest con over humanity..next step…learn the word person……it’s a mask worn by a actor… I know the path you are on….the truth , not the con! Good comment!
“California compliant degreaser” makes me want to throw myself in front of the nearest semi truck.
Thanks Brock, good to see your dad giving his own go at the overlord, i would have spewed if my dad and my crew did that to me.
Cheers brother! Ride on. 🚲
Got volume up to hear Chip but My ears hurt from bluegrass and harmonica
I like the proportions on Murray Pfaff’s ‘59 Imperial Soeedster. Chip can do magic with sheet metal, but I just can’t see the Continental exceeding Murray’s masterpiece. Quick story. This must have been 1969. I was the youngest engineer in Ford’s 429-460 engine engineering department. Mrs. Edsel Ford’s Continental was at the Engineering Center for some work. The 368 V8 needed a rebuild, but: 1. We wanted to install the new 460 engine. 2. No passenger car pistons were available and truck pistons would not provide the NVH quality we wanted for H.F. II’s mother’s car. The 460 engine & C6 transmission dropped in easily. To match up with the vehicles rocker panel mounted exhaust system we just swapped the exhaust manifolds left to right and the outlets faced forward. I got to take the vehicle out on the Dearborn Test Track with my boss, the 429-460 Engine Design supervisor, and the Engine Development supervisor. They were real good friends and usually had lunch together. We called them the Manhattan Boys. It was early afternoon and I guess that’s why I got to drive. As I was exiting the track & into the infield, a big dump truck test vehicle almost T-boned us. I had 2 supervisors chewing on me, we’re sitting in Mrs. Edsel Ford’s automobile and I’m thinking I’m gonna have a career change to refrigeration repairman, working for my father… I clearly had the right of way, but if the car had been racked up and/or the bosses hurt, I was toast. Fortunately for me, the test track manager was looking at the track from the test track office and he saw the incident. While I was getting yelled at, he rushed over and read the truck driver, a test track employee, the riot act - and saved my job!
Wicked cool I had thought and had dreams of doing the same with 59 El Camino with all chrome blued out with a deep metallic midnight blue
Very cool!!! 🤜🤛
Great presentation. Hope to see more of you on Foose Design. Recently learned you were named after Pete Brock. That’s so cool.
A "Chip" off the old block, aren't you? Nice job!
CHIP FOOSE KING DESIGN 💪💪👑👑🏆🏆🏆
Beautifully done but it lost something of the E Type character and strength. In some ways from the front it looks like cross between an E Type and a Ferrari. I would have begun with the coupe which is better looking and I would never have used the long wheelbase version. It changes the proportions making the car look less athletic.
Nah they picked the wrong color for that car ...😂😂😂
Really entertaining and interesting commentary tour and cool presentation. Hope to see Brock hosting some more future episodes of what’s happening at Foose Design.
Brock, you didn't mention that your dad, after being surprised with the finished Overlord, built a pick up for your dad- I think I remember it was painted mainly with a color called "Sex on the Beach", also in secret. ON your grand dad's response to the parking lot contretemps; he was so angry, he helped him become one of the leading car designer/ builders in the world. Brock, that is some serious anger and counseling! If it's lead work he's needing, Retro Power, far off in the UK, has a guy that does it really well. Mention Churchill and a certain Jensen Interceptor- both were originally built using lead filler material, and it's hard to combine with synthetics.
What would have bee hilarious is if you had first presented him with a rendering that reflected having made it appear as an oversized Beetle. Semaphores, wadded-up cloth sunroof, turn the hood down so it looks like someone sticking their tongue out, etc.
Good job!!
Great effort to keep the videos going and maintaining some visibility in the digital era ! Its important that shops like this dont get forgotten with all the louder and modern shops that are content crazy. Keep going we love to see these videos 👌
You think your grandfather was forgiving? "NNNOOOO!" Ask your father about the time he blew up a battery charger at your grandfather's shop back in 1980-1. I was there. I never heard such a potty mouth in my entire life! 😂 Sam chewed out Chip big time!
Rolls ouch
Great job, young man.
Brock that was a great tour did a good job putting this clip together. I met your PoPs at car week in Monterey Ca. He was very nice I ask him if I can take a picture with him he said yes ask me what was my name told him Homer. It says a lot about your dad he is a great man respectful fan of his work of art one of the Best in the world love how he can sketch something up and bring it into life. I like to tour your dad’s shop. ☝🏽❤️🙏🏽
Cool video. Happy to see that you have found your place with the company. It’s awesome that you can use your skill set to help move the organization forward. 💪👍🏼
